     Dear Neice

I recieved your letter yesterday   Was glad to hear from you for I had lost your address   I well remember you and your fathers family when you was a girl  --  fifty two years have gone since I last saw you,   All of your grandfathers family is dead but my self.

Where is your sisters and brother    You spoke about that german fortune it is about (14) years since I comenced working at it    the Brandenburgs are all interested in it and working at it.    the Kentuckians B  have a lawyer employed in Denver (Col) and he has one in Germany.    Your cousin William N Byers of Denver City Colorado is working at it and is better posted in business, than the rest of us and we intend to have him take the lead.    You had best write to him and tell him who you are as it will be best to have all the heirs found,   there is also property at Baltimore, land that your great grandfather gave a ninety-nine years lease on it.    Joels and Enochs children and my self have a lawyer looking after it.   Will you write and let me know what you know about the land.

I have twelve children five married and seven single six at home and six away from home    the old country fortune is in money in Berlin Prussia in the hands of the government    the property was confiscated a great many years ago    since that it was restored by King William to the heirs.    the heirs was given thirty years to redeam it and the time is all most up  we have only one or two years yet,   the Kentuckians have a lawyer that will work for ten per cent and he has one employed in Berlin, and I think we had better employ the same lawyer   we will hear from Baltimore now soon and if there is any thing that is important I will let you know.    I am in my 70 year    how old are you.

Write soon     Your Uncle
