Another view of the battlefield, seen from the Confederate side.

Three more pictures show something of how the field looked
to a soldier on either side.

Two show the field from a Confederate soldier's position
in his breastworks.

The third shows a Federal soldier's view from the open field,
as he approached the Confederate high ground.

These pictures cannot portray what the actual scene was like
in 1864 to any soldier.
