Ianthe (Talbott) Shore
Daughter of Perry and Belle Talbott. Wife of William Thomas Shore. The 1881 newspaper column has a drawing showing that Ianthe is buried in this family cemetery. No marker has been found for her. In addition to the newspaper, our family has a document made by Ianthe's son Jesse Perry Shore. It shows she died in February 1880. The year 1880 was a difficult one for the Talbott family. Their daughter Ianthe Shore died in February; their little daughter Ella Rosa died in June, and the father Perry Talbott died in September. The family might have intended to place a headstone for Ianthe but were not able to do it. Mother of Albertus Arthur Shore (1874-1928) and Jesse Perry Shore (1877-1950) Grandmother of:
